Customers may find that there are times that they cannot run reports to screen, or the screen is showing a black screen in the report window.
This is usually caused by vedit. If you slay vedit and the viewer and restart the report, it should be ok.
To do so:-
- Open a QNX Shell (Admin > QNX Shell), and login as root, with the root password (default is 4346).
- Type 'su' and enter the root password (default is 4346). The prompt should now be a crosshatch '#'.
- Type 'slay -f vedit' and press Enter
- The Report window should completely disappears / close at this point
- You can also try 'slay -f viewer' as well
Once the report window has closed, you should now be able to try again, and the report should display correctly.
