Firmware updates on a range of Tecom products can be done via Titan (version 3 or higher).
An alternative method is to use the Tecom Firmware Loader software, available on a range of devices that support remote firmware upgrades.
To use the Firmware Loader, you will need to download either the *.SREC or *.IMG extension file of the released firmware.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
When upgrading firmware using this tool, all programming on the device will be lost. We recommend that you perform a backup of any programming before proceeding.
Firmware updates via CTPlus-
1. Make sure the device (panel is online) in CTPLus.
2. Click on Operation > Status and Control , another window will open with a list of all the panels.
3. Select the panel for which you would like to upgrade the firmware , right click and select Program Firmware ( as can be seen below )
4. This will open a new window , press the sync button , this will sync all the released and pre-release versions from the cloud and you can select the version of the firmware that you would like to install and click on Program. This will upgrade the firmware on your panel and you can see the live progress of the firmware upgrade progress in the Live events window.
